About the Role

As a commercially sharp and operationally fluent leader, your role at Peepal Consulting will involve building and owning the Executive Search vertical. This genuine P&L role requires you to originate business, deliver exceptional searches, and scale this practice into a high-margin, brand-defining line of revenue.

Key Responsibilities: - Business Acquisition - Own the full BD cycle from lead generation to mandate closure for the Executive Search vertical. - Independently build and work a high-quality client pipeline.
- Identify, pitch, and convert new-to-firm clients while growing wallet share with existing accounts.
- Hire, coach, and drive a BD team as the vertical scales.
- Represent Peepal at CXO forums, industry events, and peer networks to enhance our positioning in executive hiring.

  • Business Servicing - Demonstrate deep working knowledge of executive search methodology at the CXO/Director level.

  • - Lead mandates at the most senior levels ensuring quality delivery.
    - Build structured candidate pipelines to reduce mandate turnaround time.
    - Act as the primary relationship owner for key accounts with proactive client communication.
    - Uphold Peepal's standards for discretion, accuracy, and speed in executive hiring.

  • Building the Vertical - Own the P&L, set revenue targets, manage cost, and drive profitability.

  • - Define the go-to-market positioning for Peepal's Executive Search offering.
    - Develop playbooks, processes, and tools to make the vertical scalable.
    - Provide monthly reporting on pipeline health, mandate conversion, revenue forecast, and team productivity.
    - Partner with the Founder's Office on long-term strategy, vertical investments, and growth planning.

    Qualifications Required:

  • • 1018 years in executive search or CXO-level hiring with a track record of origination.

  • • Strong commercial instincts, comfortable with managing revenue numbers and costs.

  • • Experience in building or leading a small team.

  • • Warm network at CHRO, CFO, and CEO level translating into mandates.

  • • Executive-level gravitas for comfortable operation at the C-suite.

  • • Bias for action, structured thinking, and discipline in running parallel mandates without dropping standards.
  • In this role, you will be measured on quarterly revenue & P&L targets met, mandate conversion rates, and client retention metrics.
