About the Role

In this role of Vice President, Production Services Application Support Analyst at BNY, you will play a key role in partnering with various teams to ensure the smooth functioning of database customizations in an Oracle environment. Your responsibilities will include proactively monitoring databases, resolving performance issues, participating in production incidents, and collaborating with Oracle service requests for issue resolutions. You will also be involved in designing and implementing solutions to enhance processes and guide the team as a senior resource.

Key Responsibilities: - Partner with Operations, Developers, and Support teams for assigned tasks - Track and execute database customizations in Oracle environment - Monitor databases and address alerts promptly

  • • Escalate and resolve database performance issues

  • • Participate in production incidents and provide swift solutions

  • • Collaborate with Oracle service requests for issue resolutions

  • • Work with Oracle System DBA for database duplicates and solutions

  • • Support weekend shifts and evening shifts

  • • Join calls promptly to assist the team on Oracle related matters

  • • Design and maintain data purge process

  • • Guide the team as a senior resource
  • Qualifications Required: - 6 years of experience in Production support

  • • Excellent communication skills

  • • Strong proficiency in Batch Support, SQL coding and debugging, SQL performance tuning, Control-M

  • • Good to have: Markit EDM / Cadis experience

  • • Willingness to work in rotational shifts including night shifts
