About the Role

As a Vendor Management Specialist at Google, your role will involve building trusted relationships with Director-level and executive decision-makers, understanding their strategic priorities within product areas and Bets. You will be expected to demonstrate expertise in Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) menu of services, supporting VPs in getting the right talent by shaping and enforcing cost-effective practices and adherence to xWS policies. Your understanding of VP business objectives, operating models, structure, demand vs capacity needs, and ongoing strategic insight will be crucial in unlocking economies of scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Build trusted relationships with Director-level and executive decision-makers

  • • Demonstrate expertise in Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) menu of services

  • • Support VPs in shaping and enforcing cost-effective practices

  • • Educate xWS with ongoing strategic insight to unlock economies of scale

  • • Drive/support extensive change management within product areas

  • • Consult VPs on xWS policies and understand the impact of changes

  • • Position xWS solutions that drive results while mitigating risk
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

  • • 15 years of experience in vendor management, supplier management, or service delivery management

  • • Experience working with executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management

  • • MBA or Master's degree preferred

  • • 10 years of experience in strategic business partnership and account management roles

  • • 8 years of experience in a customer-facing role, driving large-scale and complex programs

  • • Experience engaging with executive stakeholders

  • • Experience managing contingent workforce strategies and initiatives across functions

  • • Experience in working with and managing partners in complex programs
