About the Role

Role Overview:
As the Subledger and General Ledger Program Delivery Head in India at Standard Chartered, you will be responsible for delivering initiatives aligning with the Aspire Subledger and General Ledger journey. Your role will involve managing subject matter experts and business analysts across multiple locations to deliver workstreams within the overall Aspire scope. You will need to balance discretionary business improvement projects and regulatory priorities while monitoring progress, risks, and issues in collaboration with the Program team and Technology stakeholders. Additionally, you will work closely with vendors and technology in-house partners to identify sustainable and cost-effective solution design options for Subledger deliverables. Your role will also involve managing staff directly and indirectly through project team structures, influencing project design and execution, and identifying efficiency and financial opportunities by establishing new processes and delivering new solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Deliver initiatives aligning to the Aspire Subledger and General Ledger journey

  • • Manage SMEs/business analysts across multiple locations delivering the workstreams within the overall Aspire scope

  • • Balance discretionary business improvement projects and regulatory priorities

  • • Monitor progress, risks, and issues on delivery for ASPIRE Subledger & General Ledger workstreams

  • • Work closely with vendors and technology in-house partners to identify sustainable and cost-effective options on solution design

  • • Manage staff directly and indirectly through project team structures

  • • Influence design and execution of projects

  • • Impact & influence stakeholders to identify efficiency & financial opportunities

  • • Lead the delivery of Day 2 BoW for initiatives covering TPGL, Balance sheet substantiation, Reconciliation, Subledger, General ledger, and FPSL

  • • Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates resources to activities

  • • Ensure delivery of benefits as per the project execution document

  • • Review lessons learned from previous releases/phases and ensure follow-up/corrective actions are taken
  • Qualifications:

  • • Education: CA/ACMA or equivalent
