About the Role

Your responsibilities will include overseeing compliance, ensuring the financial well-being of client-based trading operations, and managing market risks effectively. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks and policies.

• Monitor and manage risks associated with clients' open positions in derivatives, as well as debits in T5 funding and MTF funding portfolios.

• Conduct regular risk assessments and stress testing to evaluate potential impacts.

• Coordinate with various back-office and front-office vendors for the implementation of risk management policies.

• Stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation in systems and processes.

• Ensure compliance with relevant circulars and guidelines related to clients' trading activities from a risk management perspective.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure adherence to risk management practices.

• Prepare and present risk reports to senior management.

• Lead and mentor a team of risk management professionals, fostering a culture of risk awareness.

• Enhance existing risk management tools and systems to improve operational efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, or related fields; advanced degree (MBA, CFA, FRM) preferred.

• Significant experience (typically 7-12 years) in risk management within the stock broking or financial services sector.

• Proven track record of managing market risk, credit risk, and operational risk in client-facing trading operations.

• Hands-on experience with risk management tools, systems, and reporting platforms.

• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in trading and client operations.
