About the Role

Role Overview:
As a Risk Manager VP Global Network Services at Barclays, your primary responsibility is to globally manage risk and control for Networks. You will lead the risk and compliance position for the Network platform team within the Global technology infrastructure tower. Your role will involve ensuring that controls for cryptography are in place for all cryptographic assets in the Network estate, driving the remediation of vulnerabilities in Network products, and assessing new products for technology and cyber control effectiveness. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to build a robust security framework for Network technology and implement industry security best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the risk and compliance position for the Network platform team within the Global technology infrastructure tower.

• Drive the remediation of vulnerabilities in Network products within the SLA per the vulnerability management standard.

• Ensure controls for cryptography are in place for all cryptographic assets in the Network estate.

• Assess new products in Network for technology and cyber control effectiveness.

• Interface with technology teams to build a robust security framework for Network technology.

• Review, drive, and implement industry security best practices for Network technologies.

• Define Network Services controls, risk appetite, mitigation, reporting, and metrics for audits and attestations.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver control requirements and agree on roadmaps.

• Guide and matrix-manage multiple Barclays teams to deliver the Network risk and compliance agenda.

• Document waiver and breaches for risk gaps in technology and cyber controls and track the remediation of breach actions.

Qualifications Required:

• Graduate degree with proven experience in Networks or infrastructure technologies.

• Strong understanding of cyber and information security controls.

• Proficiency in technology controls and risk management.
