Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Engineer specialising in Roads and Highways to join our esteemed engineering firm in Bengaluru, India. As a key technical leader, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of transportation infrastructure in the region.

Lead and oversee the design and implementation of complex road and highway projects

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams

Develop innovative and sustainable solutions for transportation infrastructure challenges

Ensure compliance with local and international design standards and regulations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget

Conduct technical reviews and quality assurance checks on project deliverables

Contribute to business development efforts and proposal writing

Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in road and highway engineering

Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred

Professional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalent

Minimum 10-15 years of experience in road and highway engineering, with a proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects

Advanced knowledge of road and highway design software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation

Having experience in delivering BIM Infrastructure projects and has the ability to lais with multi disciplines

Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies

In-depth understanding of road and highway design standards and regulations

Expertise in sustainable and innovative road construction techniques

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail

Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring junior engineers

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment

Willingness to travel to project sites as required
