About the Role

Role Overview:
As an experienced HR Generalist or HR Business Partner at Nagarro, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing HR policies and programs to promote a productive and conflict-free workplace. Your strong understanding of HR policies, employment laws, and compliance requirements will be essential in providing guidance and support to employees on HR-related topics such as leaves, compensation, and workplace concerns. You will also be responsible for assisting in performance management initiatives, promoting job satisfaction, and improving employee and manager performance through coaching, counseling, and problem resolution. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with employment laws, analyzing HR metrics, and preparing reports to support strategic decision-making. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with your passion for employee engagement and workplace culture enhancement, will be instrumental in effectively partnering with leadership and employees to drive the HR function forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Develop and implement HR policies and programs to promote a productive and conflict-free workplace

  • • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related topics such as leaves, compensation, and workplace concerns

  • • Assist in performance management initiatives including quarterly and annual employee performance reviews

  • • Promote initiatives to enhance job satisfaction, including team-building activities, benefits, and perks

  • • Improve employee and manager performance through coaching, counseling, and problem resolution

  • • Maintain and update employee records in electronic and paper format

  • • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws by staying updated on regulations and advising management on required actions

  • • Protect confidential employee information and uphold HR best practices

  • • Gather and analyze key HR metrics such as time-to-hire, employee turnover, and performance trends

  • • Prepare reports on HR data and trends to support strategic decision-making

  • • Manage stakeholder expectations by effectively communicating HR projects, timelines, and resolving concerns

  • • Lead and contribute to special HR projects, ensuring successful execution and implementation
