As the President - Commercial at a premier real estate developer renowned for creating high-end luxury residential and commercial projects in Mumbai, your primary role will be to develop and implement procurement strategies that are aligned with the organizational objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and negotiation• Managing overall materials procurement and other key raw materials• Negotiating with suppliers, contractors, and engineering firms• Awarding and executing contracts• Establishing continuous improvement processes to maximize the value of contracts• Leading Digital Procurement by digitizing the entire procurement process and implementing world-class sourcing & procurement concepts, strategies, methodologies, and tools• Leveraging advanced analytics, automation tools, and AI to transform procurement into a value-creating function• Streamlining processes and systems by reducing procurement time, actively negotiating commercial terms, and identifying cost-effective global vendors and suppliers• Setting clear goals and performance metrics for the procurement team, evaluating performance, and providing constructive feedback• Working closely with teams to provide visible leadership and promote continual improvement in quality, performance, and delivery of company objectivesIn addition to your role-specific responsibilities, the following competencies are essential for success in this position:
