Description :
Role & Responsibilities :
- Identify opportunities for automation across functions and deliver efficiency, quality and cost leadership initiatives.
- Drive architectural compliances across all business IT systems as per group standards and recommendations
- Ensure and maintain 100% accurate data of all business IT Systems. i.e. CMBD, SOPs, Documentations, Vendor information, Source Codes, etc. Ensure 100% IT Security compliances for all business IT Systems under the scope. i.e. LIMS, CRM, DWH, Financial Systems and any other business applications.
- Responsibility includes ensuring compliances with various GxP and other regulatory needs, ensuring SOPs and Documentations are up to date at any given time for any regulatory and/or internal needs, leading periodic application hardening initiatives to improve the IT Security and data integrity, leading periodic maintenance on applications systems to ensure s/w applications and environmental variable up to date as per group standards etc.
- Be hands on with application life cycle management, laboratory instruments, instrument s/w etc. Lead and plan for annual tech refresh programs under your scope and execute the plan as per agreed operating objectives from the business leaders.
- Actively lead Incident, Release, Change, and Problem management functions for all IT Applications within the scope.
- Manage business expectations and day-to-day interactions with key stakeholders and sponsors.
- Build and manage the team to deliver required IT solutions (including LIMS, CRM, DWH and any others) within the approved time and budget. Plan and Lead various IT steer-co meetings for the region. This involves preparing detailed IT project(s) plans, progress reports, financial summary, etc.
- Liaise with solutions owners for any issues or additional features needed in the group solutions used by the business in the region
- Liaise with Regional Infrastructure Manager to address any technical issues in the region and co-ordinate any integration efforts for new businesses.
- Co-located with business and having constant interaction with the businesses and its customers.
- Draw the roadmap to leverage AI/ML for business in scope and plan for its execution.
- Effective management of IT solutions budget for the region, ability to define, track and manage both capex and opex. People Leadership manage and lead OUIT team successfully towards agreed objectives and build within the teams a sense of ownership, self motivation, innovative mindset, focused on results and collaboration.
- Build a culture of high performance. Set performance expectations with team, conduct annual appraisals, track performance and provide feedback.
- Work closely with transversal teams like Group architecture team, Group IT security team, Group solutions team to maximize productivity.
- Talent management identify required capabilities and skill gaps within team and plan for fulfilling the gaps.
- Recruit the people with right attitude, skill, customer centricity and potential for efficient delivery
Experience :
- 18+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5+ years in IT Management Preferably had experience in leading IT Solutions for regulated environments such as Testing industry, Laboratory and Biopharma businesses etc.
- Strong experience in IT Project Management, stakeholders engagement.
- Strong experience of working with enterprise tools like CRM, ERP, LIMS, Power BI and DWH.
- Experience with Microsoft suit of technologies is must
- Experience in managing small to medium (~10 people) delivery teams
- Experience working with business and Infrastructure stakeholders in a fast paced environment.
- Experience in AI/ML nice to have.
Travel : Ready to travel (~10%)
Skills :
- Prior experience of defining IT strategy is good to have
- Knowledge of Azure migration and SQL is a plus
- PMP, AGILE & ITIL background is a big plus

- Ability to simplify the complex IT problems and articulate the solutions to business leaders.
- Executive presence and Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and strategic thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, able to adapt quickly, work well under deadlines in a complex changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.
- Experience in driving discussion with Senior Mgmt. and CxO.
- Ability to think out of the box, keen observer and eye for details.
- Ability to manage relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team-oriented environment using sound judgment in decision-making.
- Should be a self-motivated, independent, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills
- Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software if necessary.
