About the Role

As a highly skilled and experienced Technology Audit, Vice President, you will join the Technology Audit Team in India and lead the local team. Your role will involve a deep understanding of technologies, processes, controls, industry standards, and related risks for a global organization. You will work closely with peers on a diverse global team to conduct technology infrastructure, security, and horizontal audits. Collaboration with State Streets technology organization is crucial for success. Your reporting line will be to the Managing Director, Head of Technology Audit for State Street. This role is based in Bangalore, India.

Key Responsibilities: - Lead and participate in technology infrastructure and horizontal audits and validation activities - Develop continuous auditing processes utilizing data analytics - Collaborate with global peers for cyber, horizontal, infrastructure, security, and application and business audit

  • • Stay updated on technology risk and regulatory changes related to infrastructure, cyber, and innovative assurance approaches

  • • Manage, develop, and coach a diverse global team of IT auditors

  • • Ensure integration of technology audit function with the overall audit program

  • • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to the banks technology risk leadership team

  • • Monitor progress of audit and regulatory remediation activities

  • • Prepare audit reports and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders

  • • Provide thought leadership on emerging technology risks and threats

  • • Serve as a subject matter expert in technology risk frameworks

  • • Participate in meetings with key regulators and communicate audit strategy and results

  • • Participate in steering committees and management working groups
  • Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred

  • • Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security or technology risk management, with at least 5 years in audit or assurance lead roles

  • • Experience in banking or financial services industry with knowledge of global regulatory environments

  • • Expertise in technology risk management and evaluation of IT and infrastructure technologies

  • • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CIA preferred

  • • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
