Head of Transfer Agency Operations India (Senior Vice President)

About the Role
Lead our transfer agency operations team in our centre of excellence in India supporting locations in Europe, Asia Pacific and North America regions. Reporting into the Head of Global Transfer Agency Operations.
Responsibilities include: Developing talent and teams in India. Creating a culture of excellence in operating efficiency, risk awareness and client focused delivery.
Maintaining robust, scalable and efficient operating model implementing automation, where possible.
Delivering a high level of client service across all aspects of transfer agency operations and successfully onboard clients in a growth environment.
Maintaining high levels of control and implementing automated solutions reducing risk, where possible to meet risk appetite. Lead audit and exam preparedness. Ensure any applicable issues and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) are raised, tracked, and resolved appropriately.
Actively participate in the strategic direction for transfer agency and form a part of the Global Transfer Agency management team.
Active participation on the Global Transfer Agency Executive Management Team.
Deliver all regulatory and internal policy requirements as regards to outsourcing from a service recipient and provider perspective, including leading on sire due diligence visits from service recipients, clients and regulators.
Delivery of budget and productivity targets for the transfer agency business,
Be an advocate for transfer agency; being a collaborative partner with Product, Technology and other cross functional teams.
Represent Citi and transfer agency in front of clients and potential clients.
Play an active role at local and regional senior management forums outside of transfer agency.
Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders within Citi.
Qualifications/ Skills: 10. years of experience in a related role in the Funds industry, preferably with detailed experience in transfer agency operations management in a large Fund Administration firm/ bank, managing large teams.
Communication . Influence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex governance and risk concepts clearly and persuasively to audiences ranging from operational teams to senior management.
Analytical Rigour: Superior ability to understand, analyse, and deconstruct complex global operating models, identifying associated risks, controls, and monitoring requirements.
Client-Centric Leadership: Advanced client service mindset with the ability to instil a client-first culture across a global operations function.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to build, manage, and leverage effective networks and relationships across internal and external stakeholders globally.
Organisational Agility: Ability to operate effectively under pressure,
prioritise competing demands, and deliver to aggressive deadlines across time zones.
Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial awareness with the ability to align governance activities to broader business strategy and growth objectives.
Attention to Detail: Uncompromising attention to detail, balanced with the ability to maintain a strategic, enterprise-wide perspective.
Flexibility . Resilience: Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, constantly evolving global environment.
People Leadership: Superior people leadership skills with the ability to engage, inspire, and align a globally distributed workforce around a shared vision.
Education: Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
