About the Role

As the Head of Creative Design at Whacked Out Media, your primary responsibility will be to lead, build, and scale the creative design function of the company. You will be in charge of defining the visual identity, maintaining creative standards, enhancing team performance, and ensuring successful delivery outcomes for all marketing and social media creatives. It is important to note that this role specifically focuses on marketing, social media, and YouTube creatives, excluding UI/UX, product, app, or website design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Develop and own the creative vision and visual design language for Whacked Out Media across various platforms such as social media, YouTube, and marketing campaigns.

  • • Lead and mentor a high-performing creative design team by providing clear direction, setting expectations, and establishing quality benchmarks.

  • • Take complete ownership of creative output, timelines, and quality in a fast-paced, content-heavy environment.

  • • Establish and enhance design workflows and delivery systems to increase efficiency and reduce turnaround time while maintaining high standards.

  • • Implement platform-specific design strategies for YouTube thumbnails, social creatives, and promotional campaigns.

  • • Collaborate closely with content, social media, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure alignment of creative output with business objectives and audience goals.

  • • Utilize AI and Gen AI tools to enhance speed, facilitate quick edits, and promote creative experimentation within the team.

  • • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and ownership within the design team.
  • Requirements:

  • • Possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in marketing design, social media design, or entertainment content environments.

  • • Demonstrated track record of leading and expanding creative or design teams in high-volume content environments.

  • • Showcase a strong portfolio featuring social media creatives, marketing campaigns, or YouTube thumbnails.

  • • In-depth understanding of platform-specific design, current trends, and audience behavior.

  • • Ability to make decisions, establish priorities, and drive execution with minimal supervision.
