About the Role

As the Head of HR Operations at the leading Logistics firm, your role is crucial in overseeing global HR operations with a strong emphasis on HR technology, systems, and process digitization to establish scalable, efficient, and compliant people processes. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • • Leading end-to-end HR operations encompassing onboarding, employee lifecycle management, payroll coordination, benefits administration, exits, and maintenance of employee records.

  • • Ensuring smooth HR service delivery by adhering to defined SLAs and process governance.

  • • Driving standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of HR processes.

  • • Developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.

  • • Ensuring compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, audits, and regulatory frameworks.

  • • Managing disciplinary processes, investigations, and grievance redressal mechanisms.

  • • Owning and optimizing HRMS, payroll systems, attendance, and performance tools.

  • • Ensuring data accuracy, reporting, dashboards, and HR analytics for leadership.

  • • Driving digital transformation and automation initiatives in HR operations.

  • • Ensuring a consistent and positive employee experience across the lifecycle.

  • • Partnering with HR Business Partners and leadership to support engagement initiatives.

  • • Addressing employee concerns proactively and strengthening trust in HR operations.

  • • Leading, mentoring, and developing HR operations teams.

  • • Partnering closely with CHRO, HRBPs, Finance, Legal, and Business Leaders.

  • • Acting as a trusted advisor on HR operational matters.

  • • Managing vendors for payroll, benefits, insurance, background checks, and HR services.

  • • Driving cost optimization while maintaining service quality.
  • Qualification Required:

  • • Strong expertise in HR Operations, Payroll, Compliance, and Labor Laws.

  • • Experience with HRMS platforms, automation, and analytics.

  • • Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

  • • Process excellence mindset with strong attention to detail.

  • • Leadership capability to manage and scale HR operations teams.

  • • Strong communication, empathy, and an employee-centric approach.
