About the Role

As a Head - Employee Relations at our NBFC / Financial Services company based in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in leading the Employee Relations (ER) strategy and managing sensitive workplace matters. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the POSH framework, conducting investigations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and maintaining a high-trust work environment.

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement the ER framework organization-wide - Create policies and processes in alignment with labor laws and regulatory requirements

  • • Collaborate with leadership to nurture a performance-driven culture

  • • Lead the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) framework and advise the Internal Committee (IC)

  • • Ensure prompt and fair resolution of complaints and conduct awareness programs

  • • Conduct thorough investigations into employee misconduct, including cases of harassment, fraud, and code of conduct violations

  • • Recommend disciplinary actions in accordance with legal requirements and ensure proper documentation and closure

  • • Manage employee grievances and escalate issues as needed

  • • Ensure compliance with labor laws, POSH regulations, and internal policies while maintaining audit-ready documentation

  • • Collaborate closely with CHRO, HRBPs, Legal team, and business leaders as a trusted advisor on sensitive people matters
  • Key Requirements:

  • • 12-18 years of experience in Employee Relations / HR

  • • Strong expertise in handling POSH cases, Internal Committee proceedings, and workplace investigations

  • • Previous experience in NBFC / Banking / Financial Services sector

  • • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and compliance frameworks
