About the Role

As the Global Head of TA Capability Centres at HSBC, your role is to build and manage a new internal Talent Acquisition (TA) capability at scale to provide a competitive advantage for HSBC in attracting top talent. Your responsibilities include overseeing volume recruitment, sourcing, onboarding, and administrative services for key markets such as the UK, Hong Kong, and Singapore through the 3 TA Global Capability Centres (GCC) in China and India. You will be driving service excellence, operational efficiency, and robust risk and control management across the delivery model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Accountable for delivering high-volume recruitment, sourcing, and administrative services through the GCC for regional targets, collaborating with regional leads on fulfillment strategies.

  • • Ensuring consistency in operational processes and delivery activities for the GCC while providing a global service perspective with required nuances.

  • • Implementing the global sourcing strategy and providing feedback for enhancements, creating a talent pool aligned with workforce strategy and skills needs.

  • • Developing enhancements to the GCC model based on data, insights, and feedback, working with the global team and mobilizing teams for aligned change and transformation.

  • • Testing and learning across Centres, sharing lessons learned with Centre Leads.

  • • Designing and owning GCC vendor performance criteria and SLA tracking methodology.

  • • Negotiating and monitoring contractual and service arrangements of GCC vendors to ensure value for money and delivery standards aligned with TA outcomes.

  • • Providing updates and reporting to TA Leadership and Governance Forums on TA GCC performance and enhancement roadmap.

  • • Identifying and mitigating risks that may impact operational recruitment delivery through a robust control monitoring regime.

  • • Ensuring effective communication across the TA Service Delivery Model for alignment of requirements, collateral, and priorities.

  • • Overseeing global TA GCC capacity planning and budget, ensuring ROI targets are met for all initiatives.

  • • Leading, mentoring, and growing an expanded global/local team of TA professionals.
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • Deep experience in GCC set up and management across different locations.

  • • Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and people management abilities.

  • • Expertise in TA service design, contract management, relationship management, financial & budget management, planning, tracking, reporting & governance, operations leadership, and people leadership.

  • • Proficiency in operational excellence, service management, data literacy, collaboration, and diversity, equality & inclusion.
