About the Role

As a General Manager Sales - API at Sigachi Industries Limited, your role will involve leading the API domestic business division, driving overall strategy, growth, and profitability. Your key responsibility areas specific to API will include:

  • • Leading business expansion and market penetration initiatives in the Indian domestic market, focusing on high-growth opportunities.

  • • Taking ultimate responsibility for Business Development and Sales, designing sales structures to achieve sales goals in terms of volume, value, and market share.

  • • Conceptualizing, designing & planning business plan strategies to achieve short, mid & long-term objectives, including Product Portfolio management and regulatory filings.

  • • Leading market sensing & scanning activities to identify high-growth therapeutic segments, changing customer preferences, and designing suitable business models for growth.

  • • Establishing success indicators for customer satisfaction, building relationships with customers to increase market share and brand presence.

  • • Developing and managing the annual budget for the API business unit.

  • • Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing cross-functional team.
  • To excel in this role, you should have at least 18 - 22 years of overall experience with 3-4 years of experience leading the P&L of a domestic API business. You must be self-motivated, energetic, result-oriented, and passionate about growing a sustainable business. Additionally, you should possess:

  • • Strong Leadership, operational, organization, & execution skills.

  • • Deep knowledge of therapeutic segments and APIs.

  • • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • • Executive presence and ability to drive result orientation, customer focus & operational excellence.
  • You should hold an MBA from a reputed institution and have a history of integrity, result orientation, execution, strategic mindset, people leadership, and client management.
