About the Role

You will be responsible for driving profitable growth for the assigned category/categories and independently managing marketing operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • • Ensuring the assigned category meets objectives in terms of volumes, market share, and margins.

  • • Developing category/brand strategies to build consumer loyalty and drive demand.

  • • Leading the innovation process for the assigned categories.

  • • Planning and executing advertising and promotional campaigns across traditional and new-age media.

  • • Conducting consumer research, integrating findings into product plans, and coordinating product initiatives throughout the value chain.

  • • Implementing cost reduction projects to enhance product margins.

  • • Supporting sales through below-the-line activities.

  • • Managing budgets and overseeing a team of marketing managers.
  • To qualify for this position, you should have:

  • • A Master's in Business Administration from a top 25 B-School.

  • • Over 10 years of experience in sales and marketing in the FMCG sector.

  • • Expertise in the packaged foods industry.

  • • Experience in leading a team of brand managers.

  • • Strong domain knowledge of marketing.

  • • Understanding of the FMCG sales system in India.
