About the Role

In the role of C14 (people manager) within Citi Analytics & Information Management (AIM) team based in Gurugram, you will lead a team of 10+ data scientists working on Machine Learning (ML) / AI / Gen AI models for AML Transaction monitoring. Your primary focus will be on successful development and implementation of generative AI solutions. Your responsibilities will include recruiting staff, leading professional development, and fostering a high performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a Strategic Leader by supporting Business Execution activities for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) AML organization and implementing analytical solutions.

• Maintain industry-leading knowledge of tools, systems, and processes for AML Detection and Monitoring.

• Lead as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in ML/AI/Gen AI, understanding AI/ML concepts and articulating complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

• Lead a team of data scientists to develop and implement ML / AI / Gen AI models on various platforms, providing technical leadership and guidance.

• Provide thought leadership for designing, developing, and implementing Machine Learning/AI/Gen AI solutions, ensuring 100% execution accuracy.

• Establish governance frameworks for model development, deployment, and monitoring to meet guidelines and continuously improve processes.

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 15+ years of analytics experience in core model development using ML/AI/Gen AI techniques.

• Strong coding skills with experience in Bigdata environments, knowledge of Python, SQL, and Big Data.

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field.

• Prior experience in AML domain or AML Transaction Monitoring systems preferred.

• Proven track record of building and deploying generative models-based solutions in production environments.

• At least 8 years of people management experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence business outcomes and decisions.

• Strong coordination and project management skills, ability to define business requirements and create technical documentation.

• Strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to translate large volumes of data.
