About the Role

As a Partner in India at Environmental Resources Management (ERM), you will play a crucial role in driving growth and innovation within the India operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the growth of the India operations in terms of people, business, and client development.

• Developing and fostering excellent client relationships by selling and delivering world-class services.

• Recruiting and developing the next generation of leaders within the organization.

• Supporting the expansion of ERM's business in capital support services.

• Actively contributing to client account development, sales, and delivery of a wide range of consulting services, with a primary focus on Impact Assessment & Planning services.

• Developing commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities aligned with ERM's global strategy.

• Building and maintaining strong client relationships by delivering strategic consulting advice and quality service.

• Managing a high-performance team and serving as a mentor to consultants.

• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the globe to support the growth and development of ERM's Impact Assessment & Planning service.

Qualifications required for this position include:

• A Master's degree in environmental science or engineering, social sciences, planning, geography, or a related field.

• 15+ years of consulting experience in environmental and social impact assessment, with a focus on sectors such as oil and gas, power, chemicals, and infrastructure.

• In-depth understanding of the project finance industry in India and experience working within the environmental, sustainability, and infrastructure sectors.

• Strong track record of advising on capital projects, ESG risk assessment, due diligence, and financial structuring.

• Business acumen to understand business risks and challenges, and identify corporate opportunities.

• Demonstrated success in delivering multi-million-dollar sales results annually and winning large strategic projects.

• Experience in running a small/medium-scaled business or team.
