As a Partner in India at Environmental Resources Management (ERM), you will play a crucial role in driving growth and innovation within the India operations. Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading the growth of the India operations in terms of people, business, and client development.• Developing and fostering excellent client relationships by selling and delivering world-class services.• Recruiting and developing the next generation of leaders within the organization.• Supporting the expansion of ERM's business in capital support services.• Actively contributing to client account development, sales, and delivery of a wide range of consulting services, with a primary focus on Impact Assessment & Planning services.• Developing commercial strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities aligned with ERM's global strategy.• Building and maintaining strong client relationships by delivering strategic consulting advice and quality service.• Managing a high-performance team and serving as a mentor to consultants.• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the globe to support the growth and development of ERM's Impact Assessment & Planning service.Qualifications required for this position include:
• A Master's degree in environmental science or engineering, social sciences, planning, geography, or a related field.• 15+ years of consulting experience in environmental and social impact assessment, with a focus on sectors such as oil and gas, power, chemicals, and infrastructure.• In-depth understanding of the project finance industry in India and experience working within the environmental, sustainability, and infrastructure sectors.• Strong track record of advising on capital projects, ESG risk assessment, due diligence, and financial structuring.• Business acumen to understand business risks and challenges, and identify corporate opportunities.• Demonstrated success in delivering multi-million-dollar sales results annually and winning large strategic projects.• Experience in running a small/medium-scaled business or team.At ERM, sustainability is at the core of both our service offerings and how we operate our business.
