About the Role

We are looking for an individual to lead to ICF’s business in power and RE consulting in India and South Asia. An ideal candidate would be technically sound in power systems, have a deep understanding of the fundamentals of Indian power markets, knowledge of the full value chain covering generation, transmission and distribution, understanding of grid operations, deep knowledge of central and state regulations, experience in systems modelling and cutting-edge knowledge about emerging technologies such as BESS. You must be growth oriented, passionate about clean energy and have an ability to work collaboratively in teams under matrix structures. ICF is a global leader in clean energy consulting, you will have the support of international teams of ICF to grow the business in India and the neighboring countries.

A 20+ year power sector veteran who has moved between government advisory roles (CERC, CEA, grid operators), large EPC/utility projects, and consulting—someone with deep regulatory credibility, board-level relationships across gencos/transmission majors, and proven ability to translate complex grid dynamics into business strategy.
