Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the technology roadmap to support business growth.• Define the technical architecture for booking platforms, websites, and mobile apps.• Stay ahead of travel tech trends, including AI-driven recommendations, VR experiences, and IoT-based smart travel.• Ensure cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.• Lead the development of an intuitive and high-performance website & mobile app for booking holiday destinations.• Integrate APIs for travel partners (hotels, airlines, local experiences).• Enhance UX/UI for seamless user experiences and conversions.• Hire, mentor, and manage a team of developers, engineers, and data scientists.• Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and collaboration within the tech team.• Establish best practices in software development, DevOps, and project management.• Implement analytics tools to track customer behavior, bookings, and trends.• Use AI-powered insights to improve customer retention and engagement.• Optimize performance based on A/B testing and customer feedback.• Collaborate with travel service providers, fintech companies, and payment gateways.• Evaluate third-party software solutions for integration (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, ERP).• Work closely with co-founders on fundraising pitches, showcasing the tech vision.• Align technology strategies with revenue generation and cost optimization.• Support investor relations by demonstrating technological scalability and innovation.Qualifications & Skills Required:
Education:
• Bachelorâs or Masterâs in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Experience:
• 15+ years of experience in tech leadership, preferably in travel, hospitality, or e-commerce.• Experience in developing and scaling web and mobile platforms.Skills:
• Proficiency in cloud computing (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).• Expertise in web and app development (React, Node.js, Python, Flutter).• Knowledge of AI/ML, Big Data, and cybersecurity best practices.• Solid problem-solving and leadership skills.• Ability to align technology with business goals and customer needs.
