Role Overview:
As a Creative Director - Copy at Orchids The International School, you will be responsible for leading the voice of the brand across various touch points. This senior leadership role requires you to have a deep understanding of storytelling at scale, enabling you to think big, write sharp, and craft narratives that influence perception, drive engagement, and build long-term brand equity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the Copy & Content Function, ensuring consistency and excellence in messaging.• Own the brand voice, tonality, and messaging framework across different platforms.• Build, mentor, and manage a team of copywriters and content creators to deliver high-quality work.• Drive Integrated Campaign Thinking by conceptualizing and executing 360 campaigns across television, print, out-of-home, digital, and short-form content.• Develop Strategic Storytelling by translating brand strategy into powerful, insight-led creative ideas that resonate with the target audience.• Provide Creative Leadership by collaborating with design, video, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive campaigns and maintaining high standards in all outputs.• Foster Content Innovation by pushing boundaries in storytelling formats and content styles while staying ahead of cultural, digital, and platform trends.Qualification Required:
• 10+ years of experience in copywriting/content/creative roles.• Background in leading agencies or established brands with proven experience across all advertising formats.• Strong command over English; proficiency in at least one additional Indian language (Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, or others) is a plus.• Ability to craft both big campaign ideas and sharp tactical copy, along with experience in managing teams and driving creative excellence.• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and a strategic outlook with a deep understanding of consumer behavior.• Obsession with craft, detail, and originality, and comfort in working in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.• Experience working on large-scale campaigns with significant media budgets and the opportunity to shape the voice of a category-defining education brand through impactful, purpose-driven storytelling at scale.
