COO/VP-Operations(Gneric API Business)

Position: Chief Operating Officer (COO) / VP – Operations Industry: Generic API & Intermediates (2 Units)Qualification: M.Sc. / B.E. (Chemical)Experience: 18+ Years in API / Intermediates Manufacturing OperationsKey Responsibilities:Lead overall Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS & Projects across 2 API & Intermediates units.Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements (USFDA, EDQM, Korea, UK MHRA).Drive productivity, cost optimization, and operational excellence.Oversee a workforce of 800+ employees, ensuring strong people and performance management.Manage business operations with a turnover of ₹250 Cr (API) & ₹80 Cr (Intermediates).Lead continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and sustainability.Desired Profile:Proven leadership in large-scale API/Intermediates operations.Strong knowledge of regulatory audits, plant expansion & project management.Strategic thinker with excellent team management and decision-making skills.
