About the Role

Role Overview:
As a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Teceze, you will play a crucial role in leading the full HR function for the Europe region. Your responsibilities will include establishing and overseeing the entire HR framework for European operations, ensuring compliance with country-specific labor laws, managing talent acquisition, policy development, performance management, and promoting a performance-driven workplace culture. You will need a deep understanding of international HR operations, particularly within the UK and EU, and the ability to lead regional HR initiatives remotely from India while maintaining local alignment and global consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Set up the complete HR structure, policies, and processes for the Europe region from scratch.

  • • Develop region-specific employee handbooks, SOPs, onboarding guides, and compliance frameworks.

  • • Ensure alignment of European HR operations with Teceze's global HR strategy and vision.

  • • Manage HR operations to comply with country-specific labor laws across UK, Germany, France, Netherlands, and other EU countries.

  • • Establish governance processes and compliance tracking systems from India, with support from local HR partners or consultants.

  • • Oversee GDPR, EU workplace regulations, and statutory compliance frameworks from a centralized HR control tower in India.

  • • Collaborate with local hiring teams and vendors to oversee recruitment for technical, functional, and leadership roles in Europe.

  • • Define region-specific hiring strategies, employer branding campaigns, and workforce planning models.

  • • Design compensation structures and benefits aligned with European benchmarks.

  • • Coordinate with local payroll vendors for accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing.

  • • Roll out Teceze's performance appraisal framework across Europe and introduce KPI tracking, goal-setting processes, and employee development programs.

  • • Lead and manage a cross-border HR support team, with oversight on local HR representatives in Europe.

  • • Act as the key HR advisor to the European leadership team, reporting directly to the Global CEO.

  • • Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Service Delivery heads to ensure seamless people operations.
  • Qualification Required:

  • • Experience: Minimum 12 years of HR experience with at least 5 years in a regional/international HR leadership role managing Europe/EMEA operations.

  • • Location: Based in India with flexibility to work extended hours to cover EU time zones.

  • • Travel: Occasional international travel to European offices and client sites as required.

  • • Education: Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.

  • • Skills & Knowledge: Strong understanding of European labor laws and HR compliance, experience in setting up HR frameworks in global delivery models, proven ability to manage cross-border HR remotely, excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. IT Services/Staffing industry experience preferred.
