Role Overview:
As the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for our infrastructure plant, you will lead the HR, Industrial Relations (IR), and Legal functions, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations while driving strategic HR initiatives. You will report directly to the CEO or Plant Manager and collaborate closely with senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the companys strategic goals and business objectives.• Advise and support the CEO and executive team on HR matters, including organizational design, talent management, and employee management.• Oversee the recruitment, development, and retention of top talent.• Implement performance management systems and succession planning to ensure a strong leadership pipeline.• Drive organizational change initiatives to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and employee engagement.• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance.• Ensure a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, managing conflict resolution, and fostering effective and enforce policies and procedures related to employee conduct, performance, and benefits.• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.• Manage risk related to HR practices, including handling investigations, grievances, and legal matters.• Design and oversee compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent.• Monitor market trends and adjust programs as needed to remain competitive and aligned with company objectives.• Oversee the HR team and manage the day-to-day HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS systems.• Implement and optimize HR processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Qualifications Required:
• Proven experience as a HR leader, preferably in a similar industry.• Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Ability to drive organizational change and promote a positive work culture.• Experience in talent management, performance evaluation, and succession planning.• Knowledge of compensation and benefits programs.• Familiarity with HRIS systems and HR operations.• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
