About the Role
Job Description :
- Product & Platform Engineering Lead end-to-end development of lending platforms across web and mobile.
- Own system architecture, release cycles, and engineering velocity.
- Build for scale, reliability, and speed in high-volume loan processing environments.
Digital Lending & Integrations :
- Design and manage integrations with NBFCs, banks, credit bureaus (CIBIL, Experian), KYC providers, and payment systems.
- Build a robust API-first ecosystem to enable seamless loan journeys.
CRM & Workflow Automation :
- Own the architecture of CRM systems powering sales and credit teams.
- Implement lead allocation, tracking, and end-to-end loan lifecycle visibility.
- Optimize workflows for higher conversion and faster TAT.
Cloud Infrastructure & Scalability :
- Own cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), CI/CD pipelines, uptime, and infrastructure efficiency.
- Build systems designed for high scalability, low latency, and reliability.
Data, Analytics & Decisioning :
- Develop data infrastructure for dashboards, performance tracking, and credit decisioning.
- Enable real-time insights for business, underwriting, and operations.
Security & Compliance :
- Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, data protection laws, and fintech compliance standards.
- Build secure systems with strong data privacy and risk controls.
Engineering Organization :
- Hire, lead, and scale a high-performing engineering team.
- Define technical standards, development practices, and a strong execution culture.
Business & GTM Alignment :
- Partner with business, product, and sales teams to align technology with growth.
- Support enterprise partnerships, integrations, and customer-facing technical discussions.
What Were Looking For :
- 12 - 15+ years in software engineering; 35+ years in a leadership role
- Strong experience in fintech / digital lending / NBFC / banking platforms
- Proven track record of building and scaling high-performance systems
- Experience with API-driven ecosystems and third-party integrations
- Hands-on with cloud infrastructure and modern backend architectures
- Strong understanding of lending workflows (Personal Loan, MSME, LAP, etc.)
- Experience managing and scaling engineering teams
- Ability to balance speed, scalability, and compliance in a regulated environment
- Comfortable working closely with founders and driving strategic decisions
Ideal Candidate
Someone who has led engineering at a fintech/NBFC or digital lending startup through rapid scaling—built actual loan processing systems, managed third-party API integrations (CIBIL, payment gateways), and grown an engineering org from 5→50+ people.
Estimated Salary Range(medium confidence)
₹35 L – ₹65 L per year
