About the Role

Role : Associate Director Enterprise Architecture

Location & Work Model :

- Work Location : Bangalore

- Office : Kirloskar Business Park, Hebbal

- Work Mode : Work from Office

Notice Period :

- Preferred : Up to 30 days

- Flexible : Up to 60 days (candidate intent to join must be validated)

Interview Process :

- R1 : Technical Interview

- R2 : Techno-Managerial Interview

- R3 (Optional) : Interview with Group CDO

Technology Landscape :

- SAP S/4 HANA (Primary system of record)

- Salesforce Lightning Platform

- AWS (Primary cloud), with exposure to Azure/GCP

- Snowflake Data Warehouse

- Amazon S3 Data Lake

- Kinaxis (Supply Chain Planning)

Must-Have Skills & Experience :

- B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science/IT) or MBA

- 12 to 15 years of experience in : Product engineering / Application development / Enterprise architecture

- Strong domain understanding of : Sales and Supply Chain value chain

- Proven experience in : Large-scale digital transformation programs

- Hands-on exposure to :

a. Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

b. Integration frameworks (APIs/Middleware)

Ideal Profile (T-Shaped) :

- Deep expertise in 1 to 2 core platforms : SAP or Salesforce

- Broad understanding across : Cloud, data, integrations, and enterprise systems

- 1 to 2 years of enterprise architecture experience is sufficient

- Strong hands-on problem-solving mindset (not just theoretical)

Role Expectations :

- Own end-to-end enterprise architecture, including :

a. Cloud Architecture (understanding level)

b. Data Architecture (understanding level)

c. SAP / Salesforce Architecture (must-have)

d. Transition into a people manager role :

e. Initially manage 23 internal team members

f. Work with external vendors

g. Build and scale the team

Key Responsibilities :

1. Financial Outcomes :

- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap

- Align architecture with business strategy and digital transformation goals

2. Customer & Business Collaboration :

- Drive an architecture-led culture across IT and business teams

- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership

- Collaborate with :

a. Sales

b. Marketing

c. Supply Chain

d. Manufacturing teams

- Work with project managers, product owners, architects, and vendors

3. Internal Processes & Governance :

- Define and enforce :

a. Architecture principles

b. Standards and guidelines

- Lead architecture review boards

- Ensure compliance with :

a. Internal policies

b. Regulatory requirements

- Establish frameworks for :

a. Data security

b. Privacy

c. Scalability

d. Interoperability

- Ensure seamless integration of :

4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

- Ensure stability of core platforms while driving innovation

- Lead :

a. Innovation pilots

b. Proofs-of-concept (PoCs)

c. Identify new technologies to drive business value
