Chief Risk Officer

The position is with BFSI Company and they are looking Chief Risk Officer for Insurance & NBFC Business

Location - Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

A) Operations of group companies in the Life & General Insurance and Stockbroking sectors.

B) Compliance with DTD stipulations for NCD funding obtained by the Company

C) Regulatory compliance since company is a NBFC-CIC and regulated by RBI

Key qualifying criteria would be as follows: -

A) Familiarity with RBI regulations and reporting requirements of NBFCs/CICs

B) Familiarity with IRDAI Regulations & Reporting requirements of Insurance entities

C) Track record of building or running an Group Risk Framework in a holding/investment company

D) Experience with covenant monitoring for NCDs

E) At least 10 years in above and must be a Actuary/CA/MBA or equivalent. However, relevant experience rather than high qualification will be the selection criteria.

Candidates with following experience would be ranked higher: -

A) Familiarity with SEBI Regulations & Reporting requirements of Stockbroking entities

B) Familiarity with FEMA compliance since Company is a Foreign Owned and Controlled Company as per FEMA norms

C) Experience of working with Risk Management Committee of the Board since CRO is expected to make quarterly updates to the Board
