  • • Role Summary :
  • • MSE invites applications from accomplished regulatory professionals for the position of Chief Regulatory Officer and Compliance Officer (CRO . CO). The CRO . CO will provide strategic leadership to the Exchange's regulatory function and be accountable for ensuring regulatory integrity, effective governance and compliance with SEBI Regulations, SECC Regulations, Exchange Bye-laws, Rules and other applicable regulatory requirements. This role will be based out of Mumbai and will report to MD and CEO. ..

  • • Detailed Job description :
  • • Lead and define the regulatory vision, strategy, policies and governance framework of the Exchange. .. - Serve as the principal regulatory interface with SEBI, the Board of Directors and other statutory/regulatory authorities. .. - Ensure Exchange-wide compliance with applicable SEBI Regulations, SECC Regulations, Exchange Bye-laws, Rules, Circulars and applicable laws. .. - Provide strategic oversight of all regulatory departments including Surveillance . Investigation, Compliance . Internal Control, Membership . Inspection, Listing and Investor Services. .. - Lead regulatory inspections, audits and reviews and guide significant regulatory and disciplinary matters. .. - Provide regulatory inputs on new products, rule-making and strategic business initiatives of the Exchange. .. - Oversee regulatory risk management and ensure timely implementation of regulatory directives and policy changes. .. - Present key regulatory matters and updates to the Board and relevant Committees. .. - Represent the Exchange before SEBI, regulatory authorities, industry bodies and other relevant forums. .. - Ensure independence, integrity and effectiveness of the Exchange's regulatory framework and foster a strong culture of regulatory compliance and investor protection. ..

  • • Candidate Profile:
  • • The candidate should not be more than 55 years of age as on 1st June 2026. .. - Strong understanding of SEBI Regulations, SECC Regulations, Exchange Operations, regulatory governance, compliance, surveillance, inspections and risk management. .. - Proven leadership capabilities with excellent stakeholder management, communication and Board-level presentation skills. .. - Candidate should meet the applicable SEBI eligibility criteria for Key Managerial Personnel (KMP). .. - Strong regulatory and strategic leadership; High standards of integrity, independence and professional ethics. .. - Strong understanding of the securities market and regulatory ecosystem. .. - Excellent stakeholder and regulatory authority management skills. .. - Ability to lead multidisciplinary regulatory departments and drive effective governance. ..
