About the Role
About the Role
This is a high-ownership, execution-heavy role working directly with the CEO. You will own the operating rhythm, analytical backbone, and strategic planning of the company, giving the CEO leverage to focus on customers, product, and growth.
You will be in the room for every important decision, from pricing million-dollar enterprise deals to planning market expansion. You will work across sales, finance, product, and engineering, giving you a cross-functional understanding of how a high-growth B2B AI company actually operates.
What You Will Own
: Build and maintain company-wide and function-level tracking. Identify what is improving, what needs attention, and why. You will be the person who catches a number that doesn't look right before anyone else does.
: Own the monthly investor narrative, covering business performance, functional highlights, and strategic context. You will develop a deep understanding of how to communicate with institutional investors.
: Working with the founders/leadership to build a long-term Business plan and tracking month-on-month progress on both revenue and cost side.
: Work on pricing analysis, market sizing, competitive positioning, and GTM planning as the company scales its Voice AI Calling product into new segments and geographies.
: Research companies in adjacent spaces (conversational AI, BFSI SaaS, collections tech), map their positioning, and bring actionable insights back to leadership.
: Build and manage a pipeline of prospective investors relevant to GreyLabs' future fundraising. Handle introductions, follow-ups, and relationship tracking.
What Makes This Role Hard and Interesting
You will model unit economics for a product where a single client contract can be worth over a crore a year. You will help the leadership team think through expansion into new geographies. You will build the analytical frameworks that determine how the company allocates resources across two distinct product lines with very different margin profiles. The problems here are not templated; they require genuine first-principles thinking.
What We Are Looking For
Where This Role Goes
This is designed as a path to functional leadership. After 18 to 24 months of building cross-functional expertise, the natural evolution is into a role such as Director of Finance, Investor Relations, and Strategy, owning the company's financial planning, capital strategy, and strategic initiatives as a member of the leadership team. Your trajectory will be shaped by what you build in this role.

From hiring to growth opportunities, our decisions are based on merit, skills, and potential, never on gender, identity, background, or any other personal characteristic.
