Job Title: Chief Mentor - Mumbai

Role Summary / Purpose
Chief Mentor leads the academic function for the city. This role involves managing the team of Mentors (Quant & Verbal) for Indian as well as International tests, driving excellence in teaching, and delivering strong student outcomes.
The Chief Mentor also teaches in his/her area of expertise (Quant or Verbal), while ensuring academic delivery, feedback quality, and student success across all batches as well as across all centers.
The role directly impacts the city's academic reputation, student results, and revenue-linked outcomes.
Role Scope & Accountability (Top 4 but not limited to)
- Lead, manage, and mentor the city's team of Verbal and Quant faculty members.
- Take classroom/online sessions in own area of expertise while maintaining visibility and connection with students.
- Ensure timely, high-quality academic delivery across all Centers in the City. Track student progress, feedback, and faculty performance to ensure consistency and improvement.
- Collaborate with city business leadership to align academic excellence with enrollment and revenue goals.
Outcomes expected (within first 6-12 months)
- Build and stabilize a high-performing team of mentors, with strong batch discipline and delivery. Implement academic processes, tracking systems, and performance reviews for team of mentors.
- Deliver consistently high student feedback across all mentors and batches.
- Personally contribute to student performance through own sessions and batch mentoring.
- Show clear academic impact through improved student scores, feedback, and referrals.
Qualification / Competencies Required (Must-Have)
- Postgraduate / MBA / Equivalent academic qualification from Top B-School.
- 6-8 years of experience in teaching (Quant or Verbal) with strong academic delivery background. Comfortable using digital teaching tools (Zoom, whiteboards, LMS, etc.)
- Strong grasp of pedagogy, student psychology, and performance metrics.
- Excellent planning, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
