About the Role
In this role as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for the manufacturing plant, you will be responsible for leading the HR, Industrial Relations (IR), and Legal functions. Your primary focus will be ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations while driving strategic HR initiatives. You will directly report to the CEO or Plant Manager and work closely with the senior management team.
Key Responsibilities: - Strategic HR Leadership: - Develop and execute HR strategies that are aligned with the manufacturing plants business objectives and local market dynamics. - Drive talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to support business growth.
- Lead negotiations for wage agreements, settlements, and effectively manage industrial disputes.
- Advise management on legal implications and risks related to employment and labor relations.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives and programs to enhance morale and productivity.
- Implement and optimize HR systems to streamline processes and ensure efficiency.
