About the Role

Role Overview:

The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) will be a strategic business partner responsible for building, scaling, and sustaining a high performance workforce at SandMartin Consultants Pvt. Ltd. The role leads the entire HR function, aligning people strategy with business objectives, ensuring talent availability, operational excellence, statutory compliance, and a strong employee centric culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic HR Leadership:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with SandMartin Consultants Pvt. Ltd. business goals and growth plans. Partner with senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and capability building. Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team on people, culture, and change initiatives.

2. Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning:

- Lead end to end talent acquisition strategies for KPO roles including analysts, SMEs, managers, and leadership positions. Build scalable hiring models to support business expansion and new client acquisitions. Strengthen employer branding to attract high quality niche talent.

3. Talent Management and Development:

- Design and implement performance management systems aligned with productivity, quality, and client deliverables. Drive learning and development initiatives, leadership development programs, and succession planning. Identify high potential talent and create career paths to improve retention.

4. Compensation, Benefits, and Rewards:

- Design competitive compensation and benefits structures aligned with market benchmarks and business sustainability. Oversee incentive programs linked to productivity, quality, and client success. Manage annual appraisal and reward cycles.

5. Employee Engagement and Culture:

- Foster a high engagement, high accountability culture across the organization. Drive initiatives related to employee well being, inclusion, and workplace effectiveness. Ensure transparent communication and strong employee relations.

6. HR Operations and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory regulations, and employment standards. Oversee HR operations, policies, audits, payroll coordination, and HR systems. Manage risk related to employment practices and organizational conduct.

7. HR Analytics and Digital Transformation:

- Leverage HR analytics and dashboards to enable data driven people decisions. Drive adoption of HR technology to improve efficiency, employee experience, and reporting. Monitor key HR metrics such as attrition, productivity, hiring effectiveness, and engagement.

Key Skills and Competencies:

- Strategic HR leadership, strong business acumen with exposure to KPO & BPO environments, talent acquisition and workforce planning expertise, performance and productivity management, change management, employee relations, statutory compliance, HR analytics, digital HR transformation, and strong communication and influencing skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

- MBA or PGDM in Human Resources or a related field. A minimum of 15-20 years of progressive HR leadership experience. Prior experience in KPO, BPO, ITeS, or professional services is highly preferred. Proven exposure to scaling organizations and managing multi location workforces.
