About the Role

As the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Shills Professional, your role is crucial in building and scaling a strong, high-performance organization. You will be based in Mumbai and lead the entire HR function, focusing on organizational building, talent strategy, performance systems, and culture development.

Key Responsibilities: - Organizational Building & Structure - Design and implement a scalable organizational structure across all functions - Define clear roles, responsibilities, and reporting hierarchies - Build strong leadership layers and succession pipelines

  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Strategy - Lead hiring strategy across all levels - from execution to leadership roles

  • - Build a high-quality talent pipeline focused on performance-driven individuals
    - Ensure hiring aligns with company vision, culture, and growth plans

  • Performance & Culture Development - Implement KPI/KRA-driven performance management systems

  • - Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and measurable results
    - Strengthen employee engagement while maintaining high performance standards

  • Leadership Development - Identify and groom future leaders within the organization

  • - Build strong mid-level and senior management capabilities
    - Establish structured learning and development programs

  • HR Operations & Compliance - Oversee HR operations including payroll, policies, and compliance

  • • Experience in beauty, retail, FMCG, or D2C industry preferred
