As the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Shills Professional, your role is crucial in building and scaling a strong, high-performance organization. You will be based in Mumbai and lead the entire HR function, focusing on organizational building, talent strategy, performance systems, and culture development.
Key Responsibilities: - Organizational Building & Structure - Design and implement a scalable organizational structure across all functions - Define clear roles, responsibilities, and reporting hierarchies - Build strong leadership layers and succession pipelines
- Build a high-quality talent pipeline focused on performance-driven individuals
- Ensure hiring aligns with company vision, culture, and growth plans
- Drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and measurable results
- Strengthen employee engagement while maintaining high performance standards
- Build strong mid-level and senior management capabilities
- Establish structured learning and development programs
- Ensure adherence to labor laws and HR best practices
- Build efficient, scalable HR systems and processes
- Manage employee relations and resolve conflicts effectively
- Develop strategies to retain top-performing talent

Ideal Candidate
Someone who has scaled HR functions in fast-growth D2C or retail brands (beauty/FMCG preferred) and moved beyond transactional HR to architect organizational structures and performance cultures.

₹2.8 Cr – ₹4.5 Cr per year
