However, our current organizational structure presents a key bottleneck. While the team is strong in execution, we now need to evolve into a high-ownership, growth-driven organization capable of solving complex, undefined problems and building new growth engines.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to lead the transformation of Toppersnotes into a high-agency, growth-centric organization.

This is not a traditional HR role. This is a business-critical leadership position responsible for building the talent engine, culture, and organizational systems that will power the company's next phase of growth.

Core Challenge

The challenge is not talent shortage-it is a mindset and structural gap.

The organization currently lacks:

- A high-agency core team that takes ownership beyond defined roles

- Leaders who can independently solve problems and build new initiatives

- Systems that align individual ambition with company-scale outcomes

Key Responsibilities

1. Build a High-Agency Talent Engine

- Design and implement hiring strategies to attract top 1% high-agency individuals

- Redefine hiring frameworks to prioritize ownership, problem-solving, and initiative over experience alone

- Build strong employer positioning to attract ambitious, growth-oriented talent

2. Redesign Organizational Structure

- Create structures that enable autonomy, ownership, and accountability

- Transition teams from execution-driven to outcome-driven

- Build leadership pipelines that encourage independent thinking and initiative

3. Performance & Compensation Frameworks

- Design performance-linked compensation systems aligned with impact and value creation

- Develop salary + incentives + meaningful equity frameworks

- Ensure high performers are disproportionately rewarded and recognized

4. Culture Building

- Institutionalize a culture where initiative > instruction

- Build systems where impact is measurable and visible

- Drive meritocracy, accountability, and ownership across all levels

- Ensure retention is driven by growth opportunities, not comfort

5. Leadership & Capability Development

- Identify and develop high-potential individuals into owners and builders

- Introduce programs that foster entrepreneurial thinking within teams

- Coach leadership on managing high-agency talent
