About the Role

As the Chief Human Resource Officer for MV Electrosystems Ltd., a manufacturing company specializing in Heavy Machinery for Railways, your role will be crucial in aligning the people strategy with the business goals. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities and qualifications:

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement the overall HR strategy aligned with MV Electrosystems' business objectives, growth plans, and organizational vision. - Lead, manage, and mentor the entire HR team - providing leadership, coaching, and building a high-performing HR department. - Oversee complete Talent Management lifecycle: end-to-end recruitment and selection, onboarding, succession planning, leadership development, performance management, retention strategies.

  • • Design, implement, and continuously improve HR policies, procedures, and processes (SOPs), ensuring consistency, compliance with applicable labour laws/regulations, and alignment with company values.

  • • Manage compensation, benefits, and reward programs, aligning them with market standards and internal fairness to attract and retain talent.

  • • Lead Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives: training programs, skill development, career-pathing, performance appraisal frameworks.

  • • Champion organizational culture, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, employee welfare, workplace safety, and a positive work environment.

  • • Provide strategic HR advice to senior leadership / board on people-related matters including workforce planning, organizational development, change management, succession planning.

  • • Develop and maintain HR data analytics, metrics & dashboards to track HR KPIs (attrition, hiring rate, employee engagement, performance metrics), and use insights to drive improvements.

  • • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, labour regulations, statutory requirements and maintain proper HR documentation.

  • • Manage HR budget and resources to ensure efficient allocation, cost management, and effective HR operations.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field. Master's degree (MBA/MA in HR) or relevant advanced qualification preferred.

  • • Proven experience (ideally 20+ years) in senior HR leadership roles - CHRO / HR Director / VP-HR / equivalent in a manufacturing/engineering or heavy-industry / industrial environment.

  • • Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant for manufacturing/factory operations.

  • • Demonstrated success in strategic HR planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation & benefits, L&D, and organizational development.

  • • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder-management skills - ability to influence and partner with senior management.

  • • Data-driven mindset: ability to work with HR metrics, analytics, HRIS/ATS systems and use data for decision-making / continuous improvement.

  • • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and negotiation skills.

  • • High ethical standards, integrity, ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters.
