About the Role

As the CHRO / India HR Head, you will be responsible for overseeing Strategic HR Leadership, Industrial Relations (IR), Plant HR, HR Transformation, Performance Management, Change Management, Compliance & Governance, Payroll Oversight, and Stakeholder Management. Your role will involve being the custodian of the people agenda across India operations and acting as a strategic partner to the MD and leadership team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • • Acting as a trusted advisor to the MD and senior leadership, providing strategic counsel on workforce planning, organization design, leadership capability, and succession.

  • • Translating business strategy into enterprise-wide HR strategies aligned with short- and long-term organizational goals.

  • • Driving performance management systems including goal setting, reviews, and leadership development frameworks.

  • • Leading succession planning and building robust talent pipelines for leadership and critical technical roles.

  • • Overseeing leadership development, high-potential programs, and capability-building initiatives.

  • • Designing and implementing HR policies, frameworks, and SOPs aligned with business needs, employee well-being, and statutory requirements.

  • • Driving enterprise-wide employee engagement initiatives to strengthen organizational culture, retention, and employer brand.

  • • Working closely with legal, finance, and external agencies on audits, inspections, and regulatory matters.

  • • Leading India HR operations while supporting allied businesses in South East Asia on HR strategy, governance, and leadership initiatives.
