About the Role

As an Assistant Vice President/ Vice President Corporate Sales (General Insurance Commercial) at Unilight in Bangalore, you will be responsible for driving regional business growth, managing insurer relationships, leading a sales team, and ensuring strong adherence to IRDAI and broking standards. Your role will involve identifying, targeting, and acquiring new corporate clients across sectors. You will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets and deliver customized insurance solutions to corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Identify, target and acquire new corporate clients across sectors.

  • • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets.

  • • Prepare and deliver customized insurance solutions to corporate clients.

  • • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key corporate accounts.

  • • Coordinate with placement, operations, and claims teams to ensure seamless client experience.

  • • Maintain in-depth knowledge of insurance products, market trends, and underwriting practices.

  • • Prepare annual and quarterly sales plans and forecasts.

  • • Track performance metrics and provide regular sales reports to Reporting Head.

  • • Participate in business review meetings and contribute to strategic initiatives.

  • • Work closely with placement, claims, and support teams for client deliverables.
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred).

  • • Minimum 79 years of experience in corporate insurance sales, preferably in an insurance broking environment.

  • • IRDAI Broker License or eligibility to obtain one.
