About the Role

Role Overview:
As an AVP/DVP - Corporate Sales - Employee Benefits at Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited, you will be responsible for driving growth and retention within the Employee Benefits portfolio. Your focus will be on managing and expanding business with large, complex employer groups. You will serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts, fostering long-term partnerships, identifying cross-sale opportunities, and collaborating closely with internal underwriting and sales teams to deliver tailored, compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Act as the strategic advisor and trusted partner to C-suite executives (CHROs, CFOs, CEOs) and HR leadership of major employer clients.

  • • Proactively identify client pain points (cost containment, employee engagement, compliance, wellness) and position our solutions to address them.

  • • Uncover cross-sale and up-sell opportunities within existing major accounts.

  • • Partner with clients to expand benefit offerings that enhance employee value proposition and control costs.

  • • Achieve and sustain portfolio loss ratio through pricing discipline and claim mitigation strategies.

  • • Conduct monthly/quarterly loss ratio reviews.

  • • Work hand-in-hand with underwriting, actuarial, and sales support teams to design competitive, sustainable benefit programs.

  • • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings.
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • 5+ years of experience in employee benefits, group insurance, or brokerage/consulting with major accounts.

  • • Proven track record of client retention and revenue growth in large employer segments.

  • • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills at the executive level.

  • • Strong financial acumen.
