About the Role

As an Assistant Vice President Product Onboarding & Implementations at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in conducting in-depth due diligence, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and safeguarding clients and the organization with expertise and care.

Role Overview:
You will work within Branch Operations, focusing on Payments & Collections, Liquidity/Lending, Regulatory Reporting, and Trade Finance. Your responsibilities will include providing operational support to meet business, client, and regulatory demands, identifying gaps, designing solutions, and driving delivery of operational benefits. You will also be responsible for managing process performance, upholding Barclays' reputation, and engaging with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Drive the design and continuous improvement of client onboarding and service processes for Corporate Banking clients in Asia

  • • Identify and drive automation and digital enablement opportunities to enhance client experience and operational efficiency

  • • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams across Asia

  • • Ensure all activities comply with local regulatory requirements and internal policies

  • • Establish and lead an Operations Change Management Office to bridge program delivery and day-to-day operations

  • • Lead the end-to-end design and continuous improvement of client onboarding, service, and implementation processes for Corporate Banking clients

  • • Ability to understand and analyze complex problems and provide effective solutions
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • Degree educated or equivalent

  • • Proven experience in payments, liquidity/lending, regulatory reporting, and trade finance operations

  • • Excellent project management and communication skills

  • • Strong knowledge of regional operational procedures and regulatory requirements

  • • Result-oriented and commercial mindset

  • • Strong product knowledge in trade finance and/or cash management related products

  • • Knowledge of SWIFT messaging
