About the Role

Role Overview:
As a Cyber Security Risk Reporting at Barclays, your primary responsibility is to provide a primary liaison service between the business, technology, and security functions to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information. You will collaborate with stakeholders, execute risk assessments, develop and implement security policies, manage security controls, conduct training sessions, handle cybersecurity incidents, and identify emerging cybersecurity trends to mitigate risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand security requirements and enhance overall risk management.

  • • Execute risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential cybersecurity threats and guide the implementation of mitigation strategies.

  • • Develop and implement security policies and procedures aligned with the risk management framework.

  • • Manage the implementation, testing, and monitoring of security controls across IT systems.

  • • Conduct training sessions to educate employees on cybersecurity awareness and safe online practices.

  • • Handle complex cybersecurity incidents by collaborating with IT teams and response experts.

  • • Identify emerging cybersecurity trends and advocate the adoption of new security solutions.
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • Must have a graduate or bachelor's degree.

  • • Experience in delivering cyber risk reporting and contributing to enhancements aligned with business objectives.

  • • Strong understanding of cyber security risk reporting principles and practices.

  • • Knowledge of cyber threats and associated security measures.

  • • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • • Good analytical skills and ability to interpret data to produce clear reports.

  • • Experience with risk reporting tools and dashboard creation.

  • • Familiarity with industry standards such as NIST.
