About the Role

As a Vice President in the Private Equity and Real Estate Services Fund Administration team at our innovative bank, you will join a team of passionate professionals dedicated to the Alternative Fund Administration industry. Your role will involve administering private equity funds and other alternative investment vehicles, preparing & reviewing financial statements and reports, and providing support for investor relations activities. You will also lead a team of fund accounting professionals, provide guidance and training, coordinate with stakeholders, and support the audit process.

Key Responsibilities: - Manage a team of highly talented Private Equity Fund Accounting professionals - Take end-to-end ownership of client deliverables and cultivate client relationships - Assist Fund Accountants in preparation work for complex entities & review financial statements, capital calls, and other client deliverables

  • • Comprehend fund agreements to determine the impact on fund setup & reporting

  • • Partner with internal and external stakeholders, lead strategic projects, and develop team members

  • • Monitor and evaluate current processes and technology, work with management to improve efficiencies
  • Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's / Master's degree in Accounting / ICWA / CA / MBA / CPA

  • • Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in private equity or hedge fund accounting

  • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software

  • • Strong technical knowledge of complex accounting concepts and structures

  • • Ability to function in high-pressure situations, meet strict deadlines, and multitask effectively

  • • People management and relationship-building skills
  • Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with complex private equity legal and investment structures & various waterfall models
