About the Role

As a Vice President Business Development (International) at our client's global Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) firm, your role will involve driving global business expansion in the US & European Markets, establishing strategic partnerships, and accelerating revenue growth across international markets. You should possess strong leadership capabilities, deep industry expertise, and a track record of securing large-scale contracts and managing high-value client relationships.

Responsibilities: - Develop and execute global business development strategies to drive market expansion and revenue growth. - Identify and penetrate new international markets, particularly in North America and Europe. - Build and maintain relationships with C-suite executives, key stakeholders, and strategic partners.

  • • Lead the acquisition of large-scale, multi-million-dollar contracts and long-term strategic engagements.

  • • Manage the complete sales lifecycle, from lead generation through contract closure and account expansion.

  • • Mentor, coach, and scale high-performing business development teams across regions.

  • • Standardize and optimize the global sales pipeline and business development processes.

  • • Collaborate with technical and operational teams to align client requirements with service offerings.

  • • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities within the AEC sector.

  • • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on growth initiatives and market strategies.
  • Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or Project Management within the AEC, Engineering Consultancy, or Construction industry.

  • • Proven success in winning and managing large-scale international contracts.

  • • Strong understanding of AEC workflows, BIM, VDC, Digital Engineering, and construction technologies.

  • • Experience leading and developing business development teams.

  • • Strong stakeholder management and consultative selling skills.

  • • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities.

  • • Experience in revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic planning.

  • • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
