About the Role

As a Product Development Manager for Personal Loans at HSBC within the International Wealth and Premier Banking division, your role is crucial in developing and implementing a comprehensive product development strategy for Personal Loans. You will be responsible for the P&L of the Personal Loans business and utilize various levers such as acquisition, channel management, pricing, and yield to effectively manage the PIL Business. Your responsibilities will include developing product features for PIL through competition benchmarking, managing the pricing plan, monitoring cost and revenue lines, and overseeing the acquisition plan for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Achieve the FRP for Personal Loans acquisition through the right product mix across all sourcing channels

  • • Manage pricing plan in alignment with revenue parameters and competition offerings

  • • Monitor cost and revenue lines for the P & L

  • • Develop a comprehensive Personal Loans acquisition strategy for different channels

  • • Drive sales across multiple channels and collaborate with marketing for acquisition-based campaigns

  • • Track productivity levels across channels and ensure achievement of agreed targets

  • • Create new low-cost sourcing avenues through tactical marketing campaigns

  • • Ensure dissemination of proposition features and benefits to customer-facing teams

  • • Monitor approval rates and cost of acquisition across channels, providing feedback for higher efficiency

  • • Collaborate with credit risk team to monitor the quality of new sourcing
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • Post Graduate (Masters)

  • • Five to ten years of relevant experience
