About the Role

As the Vice President Finance & Accounts at our company based in Delhi, you will play a crucial role in establishing compliance with policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems for the Finance & Accounts function. Your responsibilities will include:

  • • Being an objective voice on financial performance and contributing to operational decision-making

  • • Advising leadership on cost control, risk management, and maintaining liquidity

  • • Preparing financial forecasts and business plans in collaboration with management team members

  • • Guiding the company to work within approved budgetary targets

  • • Developing and implementing cost-saving measures

  • • Planning, guiding, and managing all accounting functions such as AR, AP, cost & revenue accounting, etc.

  • • Providing strategic support and inputs to improve efficiency and productivity

  • • Developing and documenting business policies and procedures for smooth F&A operations

  • • Maintaining overall controls over financial transactions and accounting matters

  • • Ensuring 100% compliance with regulatory requirements on reporting and disclosure

  • • Managing cash flows and investments

  • • Overseeing bookkeeping functions and financial accounting systems

  • • Ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and ethical accounting practices

  • • Coordinating internal and external audits

  • • Handling financial operations for overseas subsidiaries and international banking and trade operations
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • Chartered Accountant qualification preferred

  • • 18-25 years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting

  • • Experience in managing a team of at least 8-10 people

  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • • Experience in ERP environment

  • • Experience in the art industry preferred

  • • Strong analytical skills and ability to interact with stakeholders

  • • Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality
