About the Role

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for team leadership, strategic planning, technical oversight, operational excellence, process improvement, and stakeholder communication. Your role will involve mentoring and managing software engineers, collaborating with product, design, and quality assurance teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards and software architecture principles, managing project timelines and resource allocation, implementing best practices like Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps, and reporting progress and outcomes to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Mentoring and managing software engineers and engineering managers

  • • Collaborating with product, design, and quality assurance teams to define roadmaps, technical strategies, and project goals

  • • Ensuring adherence to coding standards, software architecture principles, and high-quality deliverables

  • • Managing project timelines, resource allocation, and budgets

  • • Implementing best practices such as Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps

  • • Reporting progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • Overall 15+ years of software development experience with 5+ years of experience managing through managers

  • • 5+ years of experience in complex software product development

  • • Deep expertise in modern software practices like Agile/Scrum, CI/CD pipelines, cloud architectures (Azure), and distributed systems

  • • Strong technical expertise in .NET, Python, and Microservices

  • • Experience in managing complex initiatives within budget and time constraints

  • • Cross-functional leadership and conflict resolution skills

  • • Database expertise in MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB
