About the Role

As a Senior Vice President, POM Product Owner at BNY, you will play a crucial role in leading product development and strategy for multiple software products to ensure a seamless platform experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • • Collaborating with the Business, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and End Users to gather and develop story level requirements in JIRA that enable the Development Team to deliver high-quality code consistently.

  • • Leading two Technology PODs and actively participating in agile/sprint activities such as planning, backlog refinement, retrospective, standups, and design.

  • • Creating and maintaining story level functional and non-functional requirements as well as Acceptance Criteria in JIRA, excluding technical tasks.

  • • Reviewing test cases with testers to ensure that test results meet the expected outcomes defined in the acceptance criteria.

  • • Preparing and circulating release notes as part of operational readiness.
  • To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • • Proficiency in Agile methodology using JIRA & Confluence.

  • • Knowledge of Investment Banking Loan products.

  • • Experience in delivering AI-enabled digital products.

  • • 10 years of total work experience in Product delivery with a preference for Agile delivery.

  • • 7 years of experience collaborating with and advising executive and senior leaders to set strategy, define the product, and make tough judgments between time to market and features.
  • This role requires deep product management expertise, excellent leadership and influencing skills, and strong business judgment. A Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in business management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
