About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer (VP) at our company, you will be an integral part of our global technology team, collaborating with passionate engineers to develop technical solutions addressing complex business challenges. You will play a key role in the transformation phase of OTC derivatives, margin and collateral, and payments and cash management domains in Markets Technology. Your responsibilities will involve active participation in the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), closely collaborating with product teams, business users, and support teams. We are looking for someone who can contribute to fostering a robust engineering culture within our global teams.

Key Responsibilities: - Utilize your strong technical skills to solve engineering challenges effectively - Demonstrate expertise in building robust and high-quality solutions - Engage in clear communication and efficiently manage multiple priorities concurrently

• Contribute to the development of RESTful APIs using frameworks like Spring

• Work with event-driven systems, microservices, and micro-frontend UIs

• Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and adhere to clean code principles

• Apply proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or React

• Demonstrate proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and SQL

• Independently operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Qualifications Required: - Possess 12+ years of hands-on professional software development experience
• Proficient in Java, Python, JavaScript, or React

• Experience with RESTful API development using frameworks like Spring

• Familiarity with event-driven systems, microservices, and micro-frontend UIs

• Ability to apply TDD and clean code principles

• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and SQL

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field involving software programming or systems engineering
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with cloud services such as AWS and distributed systems like Kafka, Kubernetes, S3, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases
• Prior experience in the investment bank or financial services industry
