About the Role

Role Overview:
As the Sales Director at Sidel, your primary responsibility will be to drive the sales activities of the organization and lead the sales team for the dedicated market. You will define and implement sales strategies, identify potential customers, and manage existing customer relationships to achieve budgeted sales and margin targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Define and drive the implementation of the sales strategy for the assigned business area.

  • • Ensure meeting budgeted sales and margins for the assigned business area.

  • • Identify market potential for the assigned territory/business area and develop strategic and tactical sales plans accordingly.

  • • Lead an Account Management sales team by creating and executing individual sales plans.

  • • Manage the forecast process in the sub-region while driving CRM utilization.

  • • Accountable for meeting budgeted sales and margins for the assigned territory/business area.

  • • Manage existing customers and develop new accounts within the assigned territory/business area.

  • • Establish strong relationships with customers by building a network of contacts within their organization.

  • • Build strategic networks and relationships with vendors, suppliers, and integrators to further develop the market.

  • • Develop customer needs analysis, negotiate and issue price lists, and present quotes in line with the commercial policy.

  • • Manage the Master agreement contract process from beginning to end, overseeing the project execution and maintaining customer contact.

  • • Initiate product development strategies through the Product Development Plan and represent Sidel at events/conferences/seminars while networking with trade and sales organizations in the industry.
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • Masters in business administration or Sales & Marketing (Bachelors in Engineering preferred).

  • • Minimum 15 years of experience in capital equipment sales and territory/business area management, particularly in the packaging and/or rigid plastic industry.

  • • Established customer base and network within the beverage industry.

  • • Significant market and industry knowledge with evaluation and analysis skills.

  • • Strong planning skills and ability to develop and present a value proposition.

  • • Good communication and presentation skills, sales management experience, and excellent negotiation skills.

  • • Ability to travel (>50%).
